DATE
DATE runs entirely on your device. There are no accounts and no sign-in. We run no analytics or tracking, and we show no third-party ads. We operate no server of our own — the one exception is checking your purchase receipt if you buy something, explained under Purchases below.
The names, photos, and plans you put into DATE are stored on your phone, and nowhere else. We cannot see them.

- ▸Your saved tickets — the nights you've rolled, who played, and the memories you keep

- ▸A daily roll count, so the free tier's rolls can reset at midnight
All of it lives in the app's private storage on your device. There is no DATE server and no database of users — we couldn't read your plans if we wanted to, and we don't want to.
Photos — adding a photo opens your phone's system photo picker. DATE receives only the photos you choose, keeps its own compressed copy in private storage, and never uploads them anywhere. Your camera roll is never scanned or accessed beyond the picks you make.
Notifications — nudges are optional local reminders: it's been a while, roll a night; last night is missing its photo. Every nudge is scheduled on your device by the app itself — nothing is sent over the internet, and no server is involved. Nudges start only after you say yes to the system permission ask, every kind can be tuned or turned off in You → Nudges, and the app works fully without them.
If you buy DATE+ or a date pack, payment is handled by your app store (Google Play or the App Store). We never see your card number or billing details.
To recognize your purchases across devices and reinstalls, DATE uses RevenueCat, a purchase-validation service acting as our service provider. What it receives: a random identifier generated for your install (not your name or email — we don't have those to give), your purchase and subscription state, and the basic device context that rides any internet request — device model, OS version, app version, language, and, transiently, your IP address.
That's the full list. No names, no photos, no plans, no tickets — nothing you've put into DATE is ever sent to RevenueCat or anyone else. The receipt check is the only thing DATE ever sends off your device. RevenueCat's own privacy policy: revenuecat.com/privacy.
The card's fifth seat is reserved for deals and promotions. Nothing sponsored ships in DATE today — the seat is a marked placeholder until real local deals arrive. When they do, a sponsored pick will always carry a ★ and be chosen by the app, on your device, from content delivered with the app — nothing about you is sent to sponsors or anyone else, and no targeting happens. The Date-night deals switch in You → Preferences controls the seat, and fair dice stay fair: a sponsored pick enters the elimination with the same odds as your own ideas.

Your data is yours to destroy. Delete a photo, a person, or a ticket in the app and it's gone from the device, not just from view. Clear all saved nights (You → About) removes every ticket and its photos at once. Deleting the app removes everything.
Because we keep no copies, there is nothing to request from us and nothing anyone could recover. Purchase records held by Google Play and RevenueCat are governed by their own policies; restoring a purchase needs only your store account.
DATE is made for adults planning date nights and is not directed at children under 13. We don't knowingly collect personal information from anyone — including children — because we don't collect personal information at all.
If DATE ever changes how it handles your information — for example, if optional accounts or sync arrive in a future version — we'll update this policy, change the date at the top, and call out the change in the app before it applies to you.
